Bullet pendant necklaces are all the rage. Celebrities from coast to coast are wearing them to make a variety of statements.
Either you're going to love them or hate them, it all depends on your mind frame.
To some it’s radical to others it’s green; recycling something old into new, to others it’s a symbol of using something disparaging and making it beautiful. There are soldiers coming home from overseas who have fought for our freedom using bullets and are proud to wear them as a symbol of that freedom. And of course there are those who think bullets are a symbol of murder, destruction and war. Let’s try to change that way of thinking. Any instrument placed in the wrong hands can cause destruction. A bullet can kill you or it may save your or a loved ones life.
Wearing a bullet pendant can make your individual statement of how you feel. You may wear your bullet pendant or necklace as a symbol of peace, in remembrance of someone you lost to war or violence. You can show how green you are by wearing a recycled bullet pendant; one less bullet shell littering the earth. I’m sure we can all come up with a reason. And when you think about it, you can turn a bad thing into good.
Searching the web you'll find bullet jewelry of all styles and price ranges. There are some bullet pendants that sell for hundreds of dollars with a portion of the proceeds going to a peace effort. That's a good thing. There are bullet pendants that are meaninglessly slapped together for profit in a matter of minutes and look the part.
There are but a few Artisans who make bullet pendants that are beautiful to look at and, which may have a powerful meaning to someone. The Artisan may be trying to make a mother change her mind about having her teenager wear a bullet around their neck because of it's radical appearance. Or converting a used casing into something of meaning...to someone. I am one of those Artisans.

My style of bullet pendants is a bit different than those currently seen on the web. I say "currently" because I know my style of bullet pendants will be copied within a short period of time, sad but true. If you're one who doesn't like bullet jewelry, or thinks most bullet pendant necklaces out there are a bit too radical, I ask you to take a look at my gallery with an open mind. You may actually see something that changes your mind about wearing a bullet pendant.
